The Worker to Entrepreneur – The Punching the Clock to Passion & Purpose Story

For many years I believed that I was meant to work really hard during the week and do stuff I loved on the weekends.  I managed a Travel Agency and became a dedicated “student of business systems” and how to get people to love corporate culture. I didn’t really see much of my family or friends, as I definitely didn’t have time for very connected relationships.

Don’t get me wrong, I had fun and I thought I loved what I was doing… …  but it wasn’t until half way through 1999 I got a HUGE wake up call.  I was diagnose with Graves Diseases at a very advanced stage and was told by the doctor that I didn’t have a week to pack up my stuff and stop working… I had the next few hours. I had let my health go so far that I didn’t even realize how sick I was!

Without getting into the details, my life changed dramatically after that phone call. I began to look at life from the perspective of purpose and passion! To this day, I am so grateful for what I call “My Gift of Graves”.

In 2000 while recovering, I started a company called Color the Universe selling inspirational glass stone magnets. Initially from a $20 craft table to eventually across 4 continents and to over 1200 stores, we have sold over 2 million magnets.

And Now… My passion is to show spirit rich entrepreneurs how they too can follow what is in their heart to make a multi six-figure income. I’d like to say that the money wasn’t important to me… but it was.

The money I made gave me the ability to plan my annual goal setting trips in Hawaii, to start my day kayaking on the beautiful ocean water, for my family to purchase investment property so that my husband could take the first year off for both our kids.  When you are aligned with your life purpose, money follows… take a look at Oprah, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Bill Gates, and many more…

Like everyone else, I have fears, I have doubts and I have bad days…

I also have reasons and a system that I use to keep me on track so that I can continue to pursue my dreams and stretch my mindset of possibility beyond those fears and doubts.

For me, without great teachers, mentors and coaches to help me along the way, I would not have been able to reach the milestones I have achieved. As a person who values a great coach, and a person that loves to give back, I now take my expertise, knowledge and love for building businesses to spark contagious energy and action in your business as Your Abundance Business Coach.

I teach conscious entrepreneurs and spirit-rich solo business owners like you how to attract more clients, make more money and create a truly satisfying business by authentically showcasing the gift you have to offer to the world. As the world changes quickly, technology changes the way we connect, but the core of the relationship is still the same.
